Global Parliamentary Declaration on the Arms Trade Treaty

The trade of conventional weapons (from battle tanks and warships to machine guns and ammunition) remains one of the world’s largest unregulated trade sectors.  The international trade of arms results in serious violations of international human rights, contributes to humanitarian crises, terrorism, and common and organized crime around the world.
